Eligibility Criteria for Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Assam 2023-24:

| Should have passed matriculation, higher secondary, or equivalent examination from a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education |
| Annual parental/guardian income should not exceed ₹2,50,000 from all sources |

| Candidates studying at the same level of education in a different subject (e.g., B.Sc. after B.A. or B.Com. after B.A. or M.A. in one subject after M.A. in another) are not eligible. |
| Students who have completed their educational career in one professional line (e.g., LLB after B.T/B. Ed) are not eligible. |
| Postgraduate medical students are eligible only if they are not allowed to practice during their course. |
| Students pursuing studies through correspondence (including distant and continuous education) in Central/State universities are eligible. |
| No scholarship will be awarded to students already benefiting from another scholarship. However, they may receive free housing, grants, or other financial aid for expenses such as books, equipment, and living costs under this scheme. |

Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, Assam 2023-24 Feeship Card:
According to the scheme guidelines, all students are eligible for admission to institutions without the requirement of pre-paying tuition and hostel fees. To access this benefit, eligible students will be issued a freeship card by the state government.
Students with freeship cards can attend school without paying fees upfront. The institution will receive the fees directly from the scholarship funds at a later stage.
